The emotion I put into all of my work stems from years of listening and seeing things
differently than most I believe. When I was a young boy growing up in a small town in Maine
I was always asked how I can paint the way I do and I would reply, I don't know I just love
to draw and paint. A gift that I have recognized and have shared with others all of my life.
I was blessed with having a family that shared great art and music with me. Having been
surrounded by this influence taught me to deeply feel things, especially studying the great
master painters of the past. This gave me the strength to think out of the box, dream, follow
my heart and never be afraid of expressing myself. My paintings are held in corporate and
private collections in New England and throughout the world today. The art I create is an
extension of my soal and the rewards and triumphs have been endless. I have donated my time
and creativity to various charities, medical research and public spaces which has been an
amazing experience for me as well as others. To see how a simple thought can be turned into
reality and then shared with so many people is the icing on the cake.
When I draw and paint in the studio or around others, my heart is full and I am at peace. The
calmness one feels from the creative process should be bottled up like a fine wine, sipped and
toasted on a daily basis.
"If I could give one thing to every person alive, it would be to see things in a simple way and
to slow time down so they could absorb a moment, cherish the things they see and feel and to
capture it on film, canvas or a journal".
