The emotion I put into all of my work stems from years of listening and seeing things
differently than most I believe.  When I was a young boy growing up in a small town in Maine
I was always asked how I can paint the way I do and I would reply, I don't know I just love
to draw and paint.  A gift that I have recognized and shared with others all of my life.

I was blessed with having a family that shared great art and music with me.  Having been
surrounded by this influence taught me to deeply feel things, especially studying the great
master painters of the past.  This gave me the strength to think, dream, follow my heart and
never be afraid of expressing myself.

Greg Sturniolo's paintings are held in corporate and private collections in New England
and throughout the world.  His paintings are created with true passion and have a well
developed brush stroke that radiate a wonderful energy.  Sturniolo is well respected for
his generosity with charities and various organizations dedicated to helping children, medical
research and community development.

Portland Phoenix
"The gift he shares is a reminder of the Maine that we sometimes forget ~ the easy light on a
barn, the changing wind of a season, the elegant lines of a tree.  He helps remind us of why
we live here in the first place".
